route in detail

From the Nelson Creek footbridge, climb to Seaview Walk, then follow the Trans Canada Trail east and uphill under Hwy 1 onto the old Upper Levels roadbed. Recross Nelson Creek, head north past a water tower onto a foot trail above Nelson Canyon (stay right where Whyte Lake Trail branches), climb a stairway past a big fir to an old forest road, and at signpost K5 continue left uphill through forest toward Eagle Creek and viewpoints before returning.

good to know cam

Hi, I'm Cam Appleton. I love Vancouver and I love getting out on its trails. When I went looking for a simple, easy hiking guide for around here, I couldn't find one I liked. I also really like helping people, so I built this one.

My day job is real estate. I help people buy, sell and lease. I hope you're enjoying the start of Hike Vancouver. If you're thinking about living closer to trails like this one, I'm happy to talk.
