route in detail

From the Millstream Rd barrier, head west on Millstream Trail, cross Lawson Creek, and climb the steep but soft Brewis Trail about 30 minutes to the Baden-Powell / Skyline Trail. A side trip north on Brewis (follow small triangle markers) visits the giant Hollyburn Fir, a Douglas-fir about 45 m tall and nearly 3 m across. Then head west on Skyline (part of the Trans Canada Trail) about 40 minutes through glades and ravines to the four-way Forks junction and descend back toward Millstream.

good to know cam

Hi, I'm Cam Appleton. I love Vancouver and I love getting out on its trails. When I went looking for a simple, easy hiking guide for around here, I couldn't find one I liked. I also really like helping people, so I built this one.

My day job is real estate. I help people buy, sell and lease. I hope you're enjoying the start of Hike Vancouver. If you're thinking about living closer to trails like this one, I'm happy to talk.
